This Primal Cure Calendula Cream is ideal for soothing and moisturising dry and chafed skin. Use on minor cuts, insect bites or soothe irritated skin.

Calendula extract comes from a flower native to southwester Asia, Western Europe and the Mediterranean. Naturally-occurring flavonoids and carotenoids have antioxidant effects which help fight external factors on skin. Beta-carotene can help even skin tone and regenerate outer layers of skin. Its bacteria-fighting properties are so strong, you can find it as an ingredient in some toothpastes.

Other ingredients include apricot kernel oil and beeswax. Apricot oil contains linoleic acid, a fatty acid which includes Vitamins A and E. These skin-friendly vitamins repair damage to skin cells and preserve the skin’s lipid layer. A natural source of vitamin C, which promotes collagen production – the main structural protein found in skin.

Beeswax provides calming, soothing and rejuvenating qualities to this Primal Cure Calendula Cream. Its antiseptic and anti-bacterial properties and high natural content of Vitamin A make it ideal for a soothing cream: vitamin A helps soften skin and smoothe scars.
